About Prexalonstphorai

Where botanical artistry meets personal storytelling, creating floral experiences that transform spaces and celebrate life's meaningful moments.

Our Story

Prexalonstphorai emerged from a passion project that began in 2018, when our founder started creating arrangements for friends' weddings out of a small garage workspace. What began as weekend floral design quickly evolved into a full-time pursuit after receiving overwhelming requests for custom work. The studio moved to its current East Lake Street location in 2020, where we've since designed florals for over 300 weddings, countless corporate events, and thousands of personal celebrations.

Our philosophy centers on the belief that flowers are more than decoration—they're a language. Each arrangement we create carries intention, whether it's the delicate blush roses chosen to match a bride's grandmother's wedding bouquet, the bold tropical arrangement that reflects a client's adventurous spirit, or the minimalist composition that brings calm to a corporate space. We source from local farms when possible, supporting sustainable growing practices while ensuring peak freshness. Our design approach blends classical European techniques with modern, naturalistic styles that feel both refined and approachable.

Our Mission

Eco-Conscious Sourcing

We prioritize relationships with local growers who use sustainable farming methods, reducing transportation emissions and supporting regional agriculture. Our studio operates with minimal waste—floral foam alternatives, compostable packaging, and a commitment to repurposing leftover blooms into smaller arrangements for local nursing homes. We're working toward becoming a zero-waste operation by 2026.

Uncompromising Quality Standards

Every flower that enters our studio undergoes a quality check: we examine stem integrity, petal condition, color saturation, and bloom stage. We reject anything that doesn't meet our standards, even if it means sourcing alternatives. Our conditioning process includes specialized treatments for different flower types, ensuring maximum vase life. We use premium materials like Oasis floral foam, professional-grade floral tape, and high-quality vases that become part of the design.

Personalized Client Relationships

We don't believe in one-size-fits-all service. Each client receives a dedicated designer who learns their preferences, remembers past orders, and anticipates needs. Our consultation process is thorough but never rushed—we want to understand not just what you want, but why. This depth of understanding allows us to create arrangements that feel deeply personal, even when clients struggle to articulate their vision. We maintain detailed client profiles and offer design continuity for repeat customers.

Our Team

Our team consists of six full-time designers, each with distinct specialties and artistic perspectives. Our lead designer trained at the London Flower School and brings European garden-style techniques. Another team member specializes in modern, architectural arrangements with bold color blocking. We have a wedding specialist who handles 80% of our bridal work, an events coordinator who manages large-scale installations, and two junior designers who bring fresh perspectives and assist with daily operations. Together, we create a collaborative environment where ideas are shared and techniques are constantly evolving.

Continuous Education & Innovation

We invest heavily in ongoing education, sending team members to workshops, floral design conferences, and farm visits to learn about new varieties and growing techniques. Our designers regularly experiment with new color combinations, structural techniques, and seasonal materials. We maintain a design library with inspiration from international florists and historical floral art. This commitment to growth ensures we're always offering fresh perspectives while maintaining the technical excellence our clients expect.

Collaborative Design Methodology

Every major project begins with a team design meeting where we share inspiration, discuss challenges, and brainstorm solutions. We create physical mock-ups for complex arrangements, allowing clients to see and adjust designs before final creation. Our process includes detailed documentation—we photograph every arrangement, note specific flower varieties used, and maintain a database of successful combinations. This systematic approach ensures consistency while allowing for creative flexibility when inspiration strikes.

Why Choose Prexalonstphorai

Direct Grower Relationships

We've cultivated partnerships with over 20 local and international growers, visiting farms regularly to understand growing practices and seasonal availability. These relationships allow us to access rare varieties, request specific color variations, and ensure flowers are cut at optimal stages. We receive shipments multiple times per week, guaranteeing that arrangements feature flowers that were growing just days before delivery.

Truly Bespoke Creations

While we offer signature collections for inspiration, every arrangement is ultimately customized. We adjust color palettes based on your space's lighting, modify sizes to fit specific vases or venues, and incorporate meaningful elements like favorite flowers or colors with personal significance. Our design process includes mood boards, flower samples, and detailed sketches so you can visualize the final result before we create it.

Meticulous Project Management

We operate with detailed timelines, checklists, and communication protocols. Clients receive regular updates throughout the design process, from initial consultation through delivery. Our event coordination includes venue site visits, timeline creation, and coordination with other vendors. We maintain backup plans for weather contingencies, supply chain issues, or last-minute changes. This systematic approach ensures smooth execution even for complex, multi-location events.

Extensive Variety Access

Our sourcing network provides access to over 200 flower varieties throughout the year. We work with specialty growers for unique items like black calla lilies, chocolate cosmos, or variegated foliage. Our seasonal availability calendar helps clients understand what's naturally beautiful each month, though we can source out-of-season flowers when needed. We also maintain relationships with foragers who provide wild elements like branches, berries, and grasses that add natural texture to arrangements.
